Summary of this Book...
In Ponder Awhile, poet and writer Mohit K. Misra challenges readers to embrace the simple joys and truths of bare existence. His is a delicate, calm and forceful world where philosophy bends to the whims of the spirit—a place where mankind is generous, sincere and introspective. How glorious it is to live, love and learn! This collection of fifty-one poems captures all that is pure, elegant and sweet in life. With titles such as "Mother Earth," "Charity," "Peace," and "Married to the light, readers are in for a treat with this second printing of what has become an Indian classic. Each poem is written in the classical poetry style of Dohas or couplets, the style of the sages and mystics. Each work of poetic prose is highly readable and engaging and may be easily used as either a weekly mantra, meditation or simply as an inducement to get the reader's mind and soul moving in the right direction—to enlightenment and beyond.

A Brilliant Spiritual Work, October 10, 2006 Reviewer: P. B. Jones "New Millennium" (Great Britain) - See all my reviews Some of the most poignant prose I have come across, in relating to all aspects of religion and spirituality through harmony and unity of purpose. Mohit, crystallises all the main themes of life and its transition into beautiful and simple language, giving the reader a basis for considering these moving criteria easily and thoughtfully. Really it is a very useful tool, when trying to understand these deep and often seemingly complex questions. Comment | Was this review helpful to you? (Report this)

a masterpiece one must have, February 22, 2007 Reviewer: Vishal Lamba "vishywashi" (Mumbai, India) - See all my reviews Mohit has composed a collection of very lovely poems, with a lot of deep insights written in uncomplicated simple words. When Mohit first approached me to design his website - I was delighted... and at the same time my experience told me that it will be very challenging and difficult for Mohit to sell poetry online. However, Mohit has been persistent and driven to make this a success - and I request all book lovers, readers and poets to support and encourage Mohit by purchasing his book of lovely poems. The poems can be read and enjoyed over and over again. This is a book you will truly cherish to have as part of your collection.

Wonderful poems from Ponder Awhile, October 18, 2006 Reviewer: E. Martin (Las Vegas, NV USA) - See all my reviews I enjoy reading Mohit's poems. He has a tendency to rhyme and synchronize our everyday living circumstances with the divine. And some of them are philosophical indeed and makes sense to the public at large.
