Linkin Park's sophmore CD. Following the success of their debut CD - Hybrid Theory - Meteora is a bit more mature, the mixes much richer and the lyrics a lot deeper than its predecessor.

'Session' (#12). Unlike the version in Hybrid Theory, I think this blend of the Japanese flute and scratches did not mix too well with me. Although Joe Hahn is a great dj, this particular mix was subpar to say the least.

It's a much more mature album/CD than Hybrid Theory. Although it became mainstream (and broke away from the underground), it launched the band into a worldwide phenomenon.

Besides the cool music, the enhanced CD contains notes on how each song came about, allows you to pop the CD into your computer to learn about the 'Art of Meteora' featuring excellent art from artists Delta and Mike Shinoda. There's also a website tourkit and an exclusive access to web-based media related to 'The Underground' and becoming a member. All of this brings the Linkin Park experience to life and well worth the amount paid for it.
