Robin McGraw has been seen on her husband's show 'Dr. Phil',where she sits and watches her husband do what he does best. However, Robin also, has a side of her most don't know anything about. In 'Robin McGraw Inside my Heart', she tells her story. The reasons why she sits and watches her husband everyday he has a taping of his show. She tells of her childhood and the woes, mistakes and the joy she had in raising her children. comedy strikes the reader in certain areas where she discusses her relationship with her husband. The strong points of this book, is that she tells women that they control their happiness, that sometimes it gets lost in everyday life. Through her story she shows everyone what we can do if we really just take notice of who we are.

This type of book is good for anyone who wants to really self reflect on where they are in their life. It strikes at the heart and makes the reader listen to what she has to say. It is full of experience and time telling stories that will make the reader, laugh, cry and at times figure out how they relate to what is being said.

The way she was able to tell her stories without seeming egotistic, but from speaking from experience.

After reading this book, I found certain areas of my life I had forgotten about. I started to focus on those areas and come to grips with other areas I was not proud of.

She tells her stories from experience,giving voice to a lot of problems women may face without even realizing it.

I recommend this book, as it gives focus to everyday life. The book does focus on women a lot,after all the author is a woman; but it shows many sides to happiness and a control of happiness we all have. Male or female will love this book.
