The book examines the six wives of Henry VIII. The author brings to life every wife's strengths and weaknesses. Katherine of Aragon was loved by the people, but her own stubborness was her downfall. Anne Boleyn was sexy yet arrogant, and Jane Seymour was cunning, yet softspoken. Anne of Cleaves was another woman with a big heart, but her looks did not apeal to Henry. Catherine Howard was beautiful, yet not very smart, and Katherine Parr was older, with an even temperment.

It's a good historical book. If you're interested in Henry VIII, and there's a lot of interest with the recent series, "THE TUDORS," out, this book will given you a good, comprehensive look at Henry's life and his wives.

The author's writing style. It was hard to put the book down. I really felt like I got to know these women on a personal level.

Henry!! Haha, no, seriously, there's nothing I didn't like.

Did a good researching the material. It was very comprehensive.

It's fascinating to learn about how Henry's desire to have a male heir ultimately led to the destruction of the Tudor dynasty his father worked so hard to establish.
