As a student of poetry and a poet, I found this book to be very helpful in understanding the art of poetry. I refer to Mary Oliver's book often. As an editor for the Poetry Newsletter for Writing.com, I use this book for topics in the newsletters. It is a very good teaching tool and handbook for poetry lovers and writers.
