Summary of this Book...
This book is all about finding oneself. Charles, an exceptional artist, is the main character. We see through his eyes as he goes about learning of others and searching for himself as the world around him plays Simon Says.
This type of Book is good for...
A teen who is interested in the arts and enjoys books about self proclamation and a hint of drama.
I especially liked... | ||
The whole arts school idea. Them being there and how that affects the story as a whole. Another thing was the way you think while reading this.
I didn't like... | ||
Some of the scenes seemed a bit shaky but that is because of all that is happening. There is nothing truly bad about this book.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
I wanted to go try to sign up for an art school. It also made me think about myself and what I am. I wanted to find myself all over again.
This Book made me feel...
Like there was more to life than is shown. It kept making me think "Is this how the world is?" and contemplating that over and over.
The author of this Book...
Elaine Marie Alphin | ||
I recommend this Book because...
It was a great read. It really makes you think deeply about yourself and our world.
I don't recommend this Book because...
It has a few Gay references and a few deaths. But this does not inhibit the book one bit. Only if you're offended by that would I not recommend it.
Further Comments... | ||
This book was just wonderful. I'd suggest it for anyone who wishes for a little drama but also if you'd like to see what Elaine is saying; see if it sounds true to you. Pick it up. Even if you can't buy it I'd recommend checking it out of a library.
