This is how this funny, clever and light book that plays on Pride & Prejudice begins. Jane Hayes is a 30 something woman who has everything but she also has a secret. She secretly watches the BBC version of P&P with Colin Firth. So none of her "boyfriends" can now measure up to the man in breeches. Jane's aunt guesses her secret and leaves her in her will a trip to Pembrook Park. A kind of Austen fantasy land where wealthy clients(women) pay money to fall in love with Regency gentlemen. Jane finds her trip is none refundable so she goes to see if she can get over her Darcy obsession

Beach read.

Ms. Hale kept the tone of the book light and funny. It is a good summer read

The main character is a little wishy-washy especially toward the end
