Anatomy & Physiology - The Unity of Form and Function - is a textbook used for students who wish to enter into the medical field in some form. With great illustrations, it's a good companion piece as it gives one enough visualizations regarding certain topics.
This type of Book is good for...
Students or anyone interested in learning more about the human body and its functions.
I especially liked... | ||
The illustrations! Very colorful and understandable. They definitely bring more life to a topic that many might consider boring and uninteresting.
I didn't like... | ||
Saladin does not go into as much explanation in regards to some topics or histologies of organs. There's a general overview, that's good, however, some of us need the meat of the topic and Saladin does not really deliver on that end.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
I'm keeping the book for future references, even though I'm likely to make some money back if I resold it. It is a good resource.
The author of this Book...
Kenneth S. Saladin | ||
I recommend this Book because...
If you want great visuals to accompany text you might have learned in class, then this is the book for you.
Further Comments... | ||
The book also comes with a CD (my version didn't though), but from the first few pages of the book, you get an idea of what the CD contains and it seems to be a LOT. Awesome resource as well and a must get.
