A girl owns and is an instructor at a dojo, whose name is being defiled by hitokiri, assasin, Battousai, killing people every night in the name of her father's sword style, Kamiya Kasshin-Ryu, a sword style that preaches sword that give life.
A nice man shows up and defeats them, and she discovers the real Battousai is him, but he uses the name Kenshin and she asks him to stay at the dojo, which he accepts and the two start livine together, running into many problems.

The book was translated from Japanese. Even though I don't know Japanese, I do notice a few translation errors.
