The fifth book in the series, Bloody Bones does not fail to please. Bloody Bones continues the adventures of Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter. This time, Anita has a job to raise a 300 year old zombie in Branson, Missouri. There, she is confronted by another series of murders, which will require Jean-Claude's help in order to solve.

I especially liked the mystery, of which is still apparent in the books at this point. Characters are developing more, and the book is action packed.

As before, I wanted to read more. These books just cannot be put down. Reading them in succession is also a must, (though, you could easily understand what was going on if you read them out of order).

Elated. I had a wonderful time reading this book, and the excitement of the chase was a plus. It's hard to make a good mystery novel (especially a series), and Hamilton has done just that.

Hamilton, as I've said many times before, is a truly gifted writer. I feel she may have lost her touch recently, but the older books (like this one) are proof that she does have some enormous and amazing talent.

I recommend the book because it is a perfectly amazing read. It is for horror, mystery, supernatural, and romance fans. I also adore the main character, who is fierce, knows her own mind, and won't listen to anyone but herself. She's an individual who won't bow down to others.
