Second in the Fever series, we return to Mackayla Lane's world. The walls between the world of Faerie and our world are coming crashing down and the worlds are colliding. Fae are roaming our streets and killing mortals. The search for the Sinsar Dubh still comences with great urgency, with Mac being pressured both by the enigmatic Jericho Barrons and the enticing Death-by-Sex Fae V'lane. This book is shocking, and fast-paced.

The character development, when compared with Darkfever, is overwhelming. Mac went from being the pink and fluffy girl resisting her destiny to Ms. Bring It On.

Again, I wanted her to hurry up and finish the next book so I could read it.

Karen Marie Moning continues to impress me. Her ability to merge the two realms, Faerie and Earth, is a joy to read. Her characterizations are rich and believable.

This book is fast-paced, action packed, with new characters to complement to story, rich descriptions, and erotic scenes that warm the blood.
