Summary of this Book...
Vampire loves human, human loves vampire, werewolf loves same human. and in general, the werewolves hate the vampires. Danger ensues due to her fragility and their dangerous dispositions. There is also the vampire family and other werewolves in the villages near. (that's the entire series)
In this one, Bella has given birth to a half human, half vampire baby girl - which is physically impossible to conseive due to lack of blood and life. - and then the italian group of vampires think that it is there right to check up on this child, the Cullens try to protect themselves and bring in other families to help make the italian group listen. ETC.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone who is open to some very extravagant happenings that are at times too out stretched and at others too simplistic. It's a love story for people who are still comited to fantasy novels including mythical creatures and woodland settings (almost)
I didn't like...
The ridiculousness of the ending, ofcourse i'm not a fan of the series (but once i set of reading a set of books they must be completed) but i think that a war between vampire colonies was just a way to keep interest and detract from the fact that this should primarily be a love story. Meyer blatantly felt that there needed to be a conclusion to the books but i feel that it was completely uneccessary and she only did it to keep interest. The love story had finished, they were a familly with a child. And that primary aspect should have finished the novel. The vampire story line was generally only used to add interest to their love affair.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
It inspired absolutley nothing, apart from to strangle Bella the main character for being so selfish and relief that at least it was over.
I don't recommend this Book because...
The general plot line is predominantly uninspiring and your typical teenage love story that SHOULD be spiced up by the introduction of mythical teachers is not done so by the general acceptance of every human who is told. Nobody seems to be scared nor wary of this fact when told - particularly Bella who's reaction borders on the ridiculous. It also seems to find it clever to mention wuthering hights and other classic love novels throughout as though by doing so this novel is comparable.
Further Comments...
No, rant over. I understand it's very popular but my thoughts are completley different.
