This is the story of an overworked, well paid country star who has gone too far from his roots. He leaves his show unannounced, hitches with different truckers to his home and goes back to a wise old lady who has metaphors about roots, trees and things like that.

He falls in love. Then he's conflicted between his new girl and his old life and how he can make them work again. Which does he choose?
