Summary of this Book...
Be prepared to delve into a variety of complex issues masquerading under the guise of a story well told! Readers will be taken on a stimulating ride as they encounter topics like life after death in Ghost Dream; justice in Exonerated; and morality in the thriller Delivery Men and its sequel Delivery Boys; just to name a few. A collection of 14 short stories ranging from action to drama, that will leave you pondering the very basics of life and humanity.
This type of Book is good for...
Thought provoking from the beginning, I believe this book can only be truly appreciated by those with strong minds and strong stomachs. It is certainly not a book for everyone, as the provocative ideas, strong language used and highly graphical content may be offensive to sensitive readers.
The author of this Book...
The writer has cleverly expressed his views on various controversial topics through the creative art of story-telling. Richard Yee’s talent cannot be denied as he brings mundane philosophy to life through his collection of exciting stories.
I recommend this Book because...
Every story has a certain message behind it that challenges the reader to re-evaluate any pre-conceived notions he/she may have on the subject. However, though most stories are basically philosophical in nature, they are, first and foremost, interesting and entertaining, making this book a truly enjoyable read.
Further Comments... | ||
One book. 14 stories. Nothing really extraordinary right? Or so I thought. Initially, I found the title and cover page painfully dull, but by the end of the book, I learned that good stuff doesn’t always come in fancy packages!
