Eliza Blake is a very popular news anchor women on the morning show, KEY to America. Her seven-year-old daughter, Janie, and her housekeeper, Mrs. Garcia are kidnapped. Eliza's world turns upside down and she blames herself for the kidnapping.

Stephanie Quick, a psychic, tells the police what she "dreamt" about Janie but they brush her off. Later that day, they realize the psychic was right and Stephanie goes to Eliza's home. Stephanie soon becomes Eliza's shadow. Eliza trusts Stephanie.

Soon, a fake ransom note shows up. Eliza is crushed even more. After a series of events, Eliza is the one who finds out where Janie and Mrs. Garcia is, with the help of Stephanie.

This is a very suspenseful novel and had me hooked til the end!

Readers who enjoy mysterious, suspense and thriller.

the ending a lot. I found out who the kidnappers were and I was shocked! Clark gave subtle hints about who the kidnappers could be but I never guessed who they truly were.

read it again! Clark is an amazing writer who shocked me a lot in this book. She gives subtle hints about the characters and when you learn more about them, you are shocked. Truly, madly shock.

very hyper-ish. I had a lot of energy built up in me when I started to read the ending, when Eliza goes to find Janie and Mrs. Garcia.

is Mary Jane Clark. She is a good writer and I absolutely love her writing!

It will keep you guessing until the very end!
