Green Day, for me, seems to be getting better with age. I wasn't a huge fan of their earlier work, but each album in recent years has been significantly better. Their last, American Idiot, was impressive... and 21st Century Breakdown is even more impressive.

The energy of the songs and significance of their meaning stand out as some of the better, more influential rock music in recent years.
