Eragon, a young farm boy, finds a dragon egg in the mountaints. The egg hatches and Eragon wants to keep the dragon instead of driving it out into the wild. As the dragon grows, he is forced to leave the village, fearing that people will find out about the dragon and alert Galbatorix. So the two begin their travels with the village storyteller Brom. They find themselves banding together with the Varden, freedom fighters who are very glad to see there is a free Dragon Rider. So new possiblities are opened up for Eragon and Saphira... | ||
