After the animals of a farm initiate a take-over and find themselves without food or order, a government is set up. Though their laws state all animals are equal, and that anything on two legs (besides birds and such) are enemies, the pigs soon assume command of the farm, walking upright and claiming it as a symbol of leadership.

That it was able to put such an impactful series of events into a relatively short tale.
