First-time author, Victoria Athens, has penned a suspense-filled tale of a professional's dedication to her calling as a child psychologist. A past, unsuccessful therapeutic relationship ended in tragedy and Dr. Evan Grant is left demoralized. A plea from a detective friend sparks her passion for children and she attempts to reach a young, traumatized girl. This quickly escalates into betrayal, greed and pages of action-filled drama. The only difficulty is where to pause for a reading break! This is a great read from a fresh, creative novelist.

Entertainment for those who love a mystery with suprise twists.

The characters in the story were well-developed and the action was face-paced.

Although the book was a bit pricey, I purchased to support a great friend on this site!
