This book is definitely filled with different crafts you can make, some are more difficult and considered to be an adult level, while others are easier so children can make some of the crafts too. The crafts are categorized by the event they are associated with, such as each of the Sabbats, “Lunar Celebrations” or “Other Holidays”, as some of the chapters are titled. However, if you know of the name of something you would like to make you can find the instructions much more easily by looking it up in the index instead. I would have liked to have seen the crafts contained in each chapter listed in the table of contents, but this information was left out.

While many of these crafts do sound very interesting, I was very disappointed in the lack of pictures in this book. Some of the crafts are pictured on the cover, but these pictures are very small and just don’t show some of the details very well. Also there are very few illustrations given with the instructions to help guide you through some of the more difficult instructions, or instructions that would have really benefitted from a visual aid. There are some pictures of finished products in the text along with pictures of how to do certain steps, but I felt there should have been much more. It seems as if the publisher should have allowed these authors either a large size page, or may pages to work with, to allow them to describe and demonstrate their crafts in more detailed pictures.
Some of the crafts included are: a personal wheel, mosaic firepit, frosted glass chalice, floating candles, Goddess and God flags, leaf printing, Henna body art, Green Man tree spirit, and much more. I do think many of these crafts could also be found on the internet, yet having them in a book keeps them all together and makes it easy to find when you find yourself in a crafty mood.
