Summary of this Book...
Stephen King's Most recent collection again of short stories, meant to keep you awake at night, and to never look to close at pictures for they will look back. LOL! 14 twisted, dark tales. 1. Lucky Quarter and the introduction with is a creepy insight in itself. This comes after his fab!!! Nightmares and Dreamscapes.
This type of Book is good for...
Those who love to see horror in the mundane, to feel fear in words.
I especially liked... | ||
We all know ( hopefully) 1408, the room that kills.... made into a movie, we can relate in a weird way. BUT!! Come back with me to Roland and the Darktower, "The Little Sisters of Eluria" touches back to Legends, and is the most eductational and distrubing of all 14 tales.
I didn't like... | ||
The book in general. I have to be honest. King weakened after Nightmares and Dreamscapes, and those like me who have read every King book, even those he wrote as Richard Backman, and idol The DarkTower as I do ( don't argue ) King wrote his best before he finished the eighht.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Burn It. | ||
This Book made me feel...
Disappointed. Such a let down for King.
The author of this Book...
Stephen King, master of horror. Just not on this book, more dull, and sature.
I recommend this Book because...
We all need to see King's bad side, we all have one even him.
Further Comments... | ||
If for any reason you get this book besides you absession with anything that King's writes, and you have not read the Darktower books, most of the stories will be confusing. I suggest the library.
