Before King was King he was Richard Backman, in 1979 till a reporter got too smart, and fugured it out. Before he taught us all what horror can be, he wrote The Long Walk, and The Running Man, The Rage, Thinner and a few others.


This is dark science fiction, a tale of the future.. " sixteen year old Ray Garraty has been choosen for the "Long Walk". He knows the rules, or does he? There can only be one winner, he who walks and survives...
