This DVD looks at Jane's Austen's life. It starts off with a look at her and her times. She meet a charming young man, Tom Lefoy, who grows her. Soon they admit their romantic feelings, but can they really spend the rest of their lives together or will society's expectations tear them apart?

I loved how it framed Jane Austen's life. It's good if you want to learn about her, the writer. I was impressed with how it pretty much stayed true to fact.

The cast. They were fabulous and Anne Hathaway was fabulous in the role of Jane.

Inspired. It's an inspirating DVD. Even in her age, while there were restrictions, Jane shined.

Anne Hathaway, James McAvoy, Julie Walters, James Cromwell, and Maggie Smith. It's a great ensemble cast.

It's a feel "good" movie. It is inspiring.

I enjoyed this DVD very much. I liked the extras. I rated the DVD very high because I believe attention to detail was given to all those aspects of the movie.
