Summary of this DVD... | ||
This is, of course, footage of Michael Jackson's preparatory rehearsals for the concerts that were never to be. It was filmed in the Spring of 2009, prior to his death on June 25, 2009. There are extra features, which are interviews with the people who worked with him, most notably the Costume and Set Design People.
This type of DVD is good for...
anyone who wants to know if Michael Jackson was happy in his last months. He sure appeared to be happy and engaged with the work.
I especially liked... | ||
that he seemed happy and that the production, (which is spectacular) seemed to please him so much.
I didn't like... | ||
that he is rail thin. He is way too thin for someone of his height and age. No wonder that junk the Dr. gave him killed him. He looks like if you blew on him, he would fly away.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
not see it again, but I was glad to have seen it once.
This DVD made me feel...
happy that he was so engaged and enthusiastic about what he was doing. I wish he would have had responsible medical help, but whatever. He got what he wanted there.
The cast of this DVD... | ||
is very good and dedicated to putting on a good show. It does not come close to his best work, but that was far behind him in the 80's before he was hacked to pieces by the media.
I recommend this DVD because...
it shows MIchael Jackson's strength and talent. And he seems happy. His fans, I think, will like the fact that he seemed so enthusiastic about what he was doing.
Further Comments... | ||
In the end, this made me feel better about things. I am still angry about his medical situation and that idiot Dr. he had working for him at the end, but it was clearly his decision. In this DVD, Michael Jackson seems to be very much in charge of what is going on. He is quite forceful about what he wants and sadly, I think that was his gift and his undoing in the end.
