This DVD blends documentary and fiction in a surreal journey into quantum physics. A fictional storyline plays center stage as a cast of scientists, doctors, theologists, and graduate students attempt to connect activity at the atomic level to the experiences we encounter on a daily basis.

People interested in the larger questions about: Why we are here? If God is real? Why do people's live unfold in such dramatically different ways?

It is also a great way to attempt to merge science and religion in a new discussion about what we really do and do not know.

The interaction between the fictional character, played by Marlee Matlin, and the edges of reality. A documentary of talking scientific heads would be informative, but not nearly as interactive as this journey into levels of consciousness.

Watch it again. I actually watched it again, this time with my twelve-year old son, and I tried to gauge how much he could glean from the DVD. Unfortunately, I think it is still above his head and ultimately I finished viewing it alone.

Excited about the prospects of what the next century of scientific thought could bring us. If we follow our minds into true understanding could we unlock the answers to some age-old questions? Exciting prospect!

It utilizes interesting visual imagery, a dynamic fictional storyline, and scientific and religious interviews to address the field of quantum physics.

This DVD is well worth the rental. I am now inspired to research quantum physics further. With a new century well underway we need to consider how much we can learn about how life can exist on a tiny planet in the midst of such a vast universe.
