Summary of this Book...
This is the autobiography of Sarah Palin. I was pleasantly surprised by the honesty and candor of her writing.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone who forgets that a few politicians are actually human beings. This is a very real person writing this and I could hear her voice in it throughout.
I especially liked... | ||
the fact that she is most hard on herself. She is not self righteous or pompous or anything that politicians usually are.
I didn't like... | ||
the length of it. She took more than 200 pages to get to the 2008 campaign and that is what I was most interested in. I feel like I know her better though.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
look forward to 2012. | ||
This Book made me feel...
like maybe all politicians aren't corrupt. She had to resign because of corruption, but it wasn't hers.
The author of this Book...
is pretty honest and straightforward. You may not agree with her, but she is forthright without being obnoxious and disagreeable like the media is about her.
I recommend this Book because...
it might open some eyes.
Further Comments... | ||
I was surprised by what an entertaining read this was. Usually politicians are a little hard to take in a book of this length. I like her, but I'm not sure I would vote for her. I like her as a commentator.
