Summary of this Book...
The premise of this book is that the author found the secret diaries of most of the top people in the current administration. These are made-up diary entries along with the author's commentary and explanations.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone who wants to laugh - the diary entries are pretty funny, especially those of Rahm Emanuel and Joe Biden.
I especially liked... | ||
all of the diary entries.
I didn't like... | ||
the author's commentary and preachiness. I knew a lot of the stuff she writes so it just got in my way of enjoying the humor.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
read something else. | ||
This Book made me feel...
like she makes her case for narcissistic tendencies. I felt that was her strongest assertion in the non-diary entries.
The author of this Book...
has a good sense of humor but I don't like it when she goes into lecture mode. I think it would have been better if she had stuck with diary entries and let the reader figure it out for her or his own self.
I don't recommend this Book because...
there is too much lecturing in it. I enjoyed the diary entries a lot but most of the lecturing was restating what I think is obvious.
