This is a continuation of the story, "Immortal." Evie returns to Wyldcliffe Abbey after her grandmother's funeral and holiday break. She is thrust back into a quest to save Sebastian, to find a way to save him, and to discover a way to unlock the powers of the Talisman.

Mindless reading.

I liked how the story progressed and that I really was kept guessing throughout the story. Some things were predictable, but for the most part the author did a tremendous job of keeping the plot moving in unpredictable and entertaining ways.

I didn't like the interruption between the story and Sebastian's letters. It was frustrating and made the flow of the story slower. The author also switched between past-perfect tense and present tense and that was rather annoying.

Take the books back to the library. It isn't a story I long to read again.

Satisfied, though frustrated. It felt as though it had taken so long to get to the story's conclusion.

Has a rather strange writing style, though her story and plot are very well put together.

It is a good book for young teens, and the violence and love scenes are rather tame.

The aforementioned frustration. It was really difficult to keep myself reading the story.
