This book is about police detective Dr. Alex Cross. It involves two serial killers whose agenda converge in a strange and surprising way.

anyone who likes to read mysteries with a lot of twists and turns.

the setting in Union Station in Washington, DC for the opening crime. It made me homesick.

trade it in and read more James Patterson very soon.

somehow did not write with his usual pace and flair. I don't know if that is the Alex Cross thing or because I picked this one up and haven't read the preceeding ones in the series. It sort of dragged in the middle for me.

I am going to try and read some more Alex Cross and see if it is the series or just this one book that dragged. It is possible that if I had read the previous books, I would have liked this one better. I sort of picked it up mid series so that could be the problem. I did finish it and it got better and more surprising toward the end.
