This is a classic screwball comedy of the 1930s starring Jean Harlow, Spencer Tracy, Myrna Loy and William Powell. It is the story of an heiress who is defamed in a newspaper. The newspaper publisher tries to ward off a defammation suit by enticing the heiress to fall for a man who he has hastily married off to his own fiance (Harlow). Mayhem ensues when Harlow and Loy fall for William Powell while Tracy scrambles to save his newspaper from financial ruin. | ||
