This is the true story of a high school basketball coach who believes he has the dream team set for his season. A few days later Hurricane Katrina hits and his team is scattered here and there, all their homes destroyed.

He returns to New Orleans a month later and puts together a team of those who remain from other highschools all over the city and takes the misfits all the way to the State Championship game in March of 2006. It is a heartwarming story since the coach's home was also in shambles. It has mold all over it and he and his family live in a shelter while they try and rebuild their family home and rebuilds his team.

anyone who enjoys a good, heartwarming story that has a positive message.

watch some of the movies that were previewed on the DVD that also star Forest Whitaker.

like a good movie was sort of overlooked at the box office. I think this was among the best movies made in 2008.
