Summary of this Book...
The revelations in America’s Hidden History are full of intrigue and human interest.

Each chapter starts with a timeline, so there’s no getting lost in chronology. Then the author takes isolated events and presents untold facts about them with national and international consequences.

The book brings to light the unknown facts and episodes from the time of the Spanish conquistadors to George Washington’s inauguration. The subjects range from Queen Isabella’s pigs, to Puritans and Indians, to the battles among Indian tribes and their alliances with French, Spanish, or British, and that Paul Revere never said, “The British are coming,” but instead said, ”The regulars are coming.”

It was surprisingly enlightening to read that individuals who were presented to us as founding fathers, heroes, traitors, or villains were in fact people as common as anybody and had virtues, vices, and good reasons for what they did or thought. The author has done a great service to those of us who didn’t know the true and important facts and stories.

The book isn’t written like the standard history books; instead, it is easy and entertaining to read.
