Summary of this Video Game...
James Sunderland is drawn to the town of Silent Hill by a letter from his wife Mary. His wife died three years prior to his receiving the letter. Unable to ignore it, he goes deeper and deeper into the strange, perpetually-fogged town of Silent Hill. He finds few people, and the ones he does find are deranged to say the least. Otherwise, the town is crawling with nightmares incarnate, and James will have to face the damned and worse to figure out what really happened to his beloved Mary. A great psychological thriller for any style of video game player.
This type of Video Game is good for...
This game is great for horror afficianados, especially those who enjoy psychological horror.
I especially liked... | ||
Almost every factor of this game, from the locations you explore to the monsters you're attacked by, reflect some aspect of the main character's psyche. It really lets you get to know him even though you know very little about him. There is also a 'puzzle mode' with varying difficulties for players that enjoy a mental challenge.
I didn't like... | ||
The walking. There is a lot of walking to do between the main locations.
When I finished playing this Video Game I wanted to...
Play it again, and I did- several times over.
This Video Game made me feel...
Afraid. The ambience is sometimes more terrifying than the action itself.
The creator of this Video Game...
Should be proud of him/her self.
I recommend this Video Game because...
Not only did I find the experience very enjoyable, it is a genuinely thought provoking game.
