Summary of this Book...
A detailed account of those who were in and around the twin towers on 9/11. This book explains in great detail how the building of the towers gave way to greed instead of safety measures. It is a sad commentary on politicians and business. It is a heroic and idealistic view of the bravery of the people inside the towers and those who came to save them and in a lot of instances, could not save themselves. It broke my heart.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone interested in the graphic details of those who experienced the 9/11 tragedy from inside the towers.
I especially liked... | ||
the detailed accounts of those who made split second decisions that day and how a decision could make the difference between life and death.
I didn't like... | ||
the political slant. It thought just the facts was all that was necessary and let the reader figure it out on their own without being spoonfed the NY Times leftwing agenda.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
cry. | ||
This Book made me feel...
proud, sad and angry all over again.
The author of this Book...
It is two authors and they did a good job when they didn't let their political leanings hold sway.
I recommend this Book because...
it brings you back to the 9/11 morning in a way no other book has done for me. If you are interested in history, this is a must read.
