This is Juan Williams - liberal anaylst - and his story about being fired from ultra leftist NPR for comments he made on The O'Reilly Factor on Fox News about being scared when he flies and sees people in Muslim garb boarding his plane.

anyone who thinks that liberal means liberal. It sometimes means intolerant of the other guy's opinion, as in the case of NPR.

the first chapter and the last. I wanted to know what happened in detail and now I do. The rest of the book is about how political correctness influences honest reporting and expression. It was informative, but not as interesting as the circumstances about his firing.

NPR and those selp appointed thought police there.

Like some of those people at MSNBC like to say the meanest things they can think of to pile on to anyone who goes near Fox, even a liberal like Juan Williams.

has opinions I respect because he backs them up with actual facts. I do not agree with a lot of his opinions but I enjoy hearing him argue in a dignified and coherent way. I like him, but not necessarily his politics.

Most of the book was a bit boring, but it was worth it to me to get the inside sotry of what went on with that NPR mess and those awful women involved with his firing and their stupid comments afterward. I could not believe that those two were executives anywhere. I suspect serious influence using to get them those jobs there.

This is a very strong argument to defund NPR.
