Summary of this Book...
This book is a strength training and nutrition plan for women, with a focus on lifting heavier weights to build muscle.
This type of Book is good for...
women who want to lose fat and gain muscle.
I especially liked... | ||
I like that there is a detailed explanation for every aspect of their plan. I also like that they address fears women have (eating more, lifting heavy weights, etc.) and they give room for customization. For example, they use a formula to determine how many calories you should consume while on the plan. They say to give it a try for 4 weeks and adjust it if it seems like you're eating too much or not enough.
I didn't like... | ||
The workout plan seems a tiny bit confusing, but once figuring it out, it seems simple enough.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
work out! | ||
The author of this Book...
Lou Schuler is a fitness writer, a certified strength and conditioning specialist and the author of several books about dieting and strength training. His New Rules of Lifting led to this book which focuses on women, and how they really should be lifting more like men (without fear of "bulking up").
