This is the 2nd in the Private Investigations series. Colleen Molloy, a former love of Private's founder, Jack Morgan, is found murdered in his bed. There are about four other crimes going on too. Jack must find out who killed Colleen in order to clear his name.

the fact that there is too much going on. There are about four plots and they weren't fleshed out enough for me. I didn't feel like I cared about any of the characters, except Colleen, the victim.

I didn't care for it. It has too many sub-plots for my taste and I had no idea who the hotel killer really was or why that happened.

This is a fast paced read, but I didn't really enjoy it. I think it is the last one I will read in the "Private" series.
