Summary of this Book...
Dempsey Killebrew is a young lawyer who works for a Washington, DC lobbyist. Naively she gets caught up in a bribery/influence pedlling scheme as she trustingly goes along with her boss's weird requests on an exotic trip. When the scheme is exposed, her boss blames and fires her for what he was doing. So, she leaves D.C. Her father has inherited a home in Georgia that needs some fixing up before sale. She gets more than she bargained for in the home and in the people in the small town of Guthrie Georgia. In addition, there is a squatter in her house - a mean old lady cousin and her dog. They refuse to leave. In this well written story, Dempsey finds out what is really important in life is finding what you love to do and doing it with people you respect.
