A couple celebrates their 1st wedding anniversary by going to parents' home on Cape Cod in the middle of a storm. They are a police detective and investigator. Wouldn't you know that a woman goes missing and is believed dead? All sorts of tangles ensue with lots of characters.

the ending. It didn't make sense the way the missing woman was discovered.

is good at presenting characters so that you care about them.

it was all wrapped up in the end, but it didn't make sense to me. Because of that, the whole thing seemed like a waste of time. That is a shame because the characters were, for the most part, pretty interesting, especially Adele.
