This is a story of a town in the West of Ireland called Stoneybridge. A native daughter comes back from the U.S. and establishes a getaway Bed and Breakfast type place in an old family house. This is about the first week she is open (in winter) and about all the people who work there and who come there.

It is a lovely character sketch of many characters, but it feels a bit unfinished.

anyone who enjoys Maeve Binchy's work and anyone who has visited the West Coast of Ireland, which is remarkable.

the fact that the book felt unfinished. It really did feel as if there should be more to it, but the writer died after it was written so maybe she had no more story left to tell.

like I was back there on the West Coast of Ireland. It was lovely.

was a great storyteller. I hope she is at peace and tranquility now that she is in heaven.

it is an engrossing tale, but do not expect a satisfying ending. It just isn't here, maybe you can provide your own in your head.
