Summary of this DVD... | ||
A woman's husband dumps her. They teach at the same school. The idiot husband quits his job and moves home with mama. The woman is pregnant, but meets a man much more suited to her (Colin Firth). She also meets her biological mother, a ditsy talk show host, for the first time in the middle of all this. With a cast that includes Helen Hunt, Matthew Broderick, Colin Firth and Bette Midler, you would expect a decent film. This was idiotic and dumb. What a waste of talent and time.
I especially liked... | ||
Colin Firth. I always do, but even this tired old movie was brightened by his presence.
I didn't like... | ||
Helen Hunt in the role of April. She was much too old for the part and looked like she was sick and tired of everything all the way through. It was impossible to believe that she would attract the likes of Colin Firth or even Matthew Broderick.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
never watch anything directed by Helen Hunt again.
This DVD made me feel...
like it was a waste of time.
The cast of this DVD... | ||
is much better than the material.
I don't recommend this DVD because...
it was boring and a waste of time. The ending was particularly stupid and a bunch of nonsense.
