Joe Mackatozi,a NA pilot with the US air force, is shot down over the ocean by the Soviets. He is captured and taken to a prison camp, which he escapes from. On foot, in the freezing cold of Siberia, he uses is NA skills to survive and evade capture from his pursuers.

Any fan of Louis L'Amour, and anyone who likes a good action book with straight-to-the-point writing.

That the ending is left up to the reader. It never really says what ultimately happens, and leaves the reader free to imagine.
