Summary of this Book...
This is Danielle Steel's latest novel. It is the story of two couples, decades apart and how death and near death experiences cannot part them.

One of the stories is about the Amish community in Pennsylvania so I found that interesting.
I especially liked...
the details about Amish life in the modern world.
I didn't like...
the fact that both stories felt like they could be complete novels. They did not fit together for me. The connection between the two did not work somehow.
The author of this Book...
is good at making you care about her characters. I cared much more about the characters in Lillibet's story (The Amish one) then the first one.
I recommend this Book because...
it felt like two stories forced together to me. I enjoyed the one about the Amish, but not so much the other one.
Further Comments...
Danielle Steel is a talented story teller and I usually get wrapped up in her characters. One of the stories here did that for me and the other not so much. It felt like they were slapped together and sort of forced into the ending.
