Summary of this Book...
A 51 year old spinster lives with her devoted dog, Frank. She is a visiting nurse and quite good at it. Never having been pretty or popular, she always pined for the most popular boy in high school. Years have gone by and he is now terminally ill and one of her patients. Their relationship teaches them both about living, loving and moving on.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone who has contemplated suicide because of an illness or the illness of a loved one.
I especially liked... | ||
the devoted dog, Frank. He is much smarter and nicer than all the humans combined.
I didn't like... | ||
that Myra (the nurse) did not think of Frank when she made her plans. Shame on her!
The author of this Book...
is a nurse, so it is from a real nursing point of view.
Further Comments... | ||
This book was entertaining, but I do not think I will read more of Ms. Berg's work. It forces me to think about things (at least at this point) that I would rather not think about, like suicide.
