Summary of this Book...
The second book in the series about the evil that comes to Hawkins Hollow. For the residents of Hawkins Hollow, the number seven portends doom--ever since, as boys, they freed a demon trapped for centuries when three boys' blood spilled upon the Pagan Stone ... Their bonding ritual led to seven days of madness, every seven years. Now, as the dreaded July looms before them, the men can feel the storm brewing. They are plagued by visions of death and destruction. But this year they are better prepared, joined in their battle by three women who have come to the Hollow. Layla, Quinn, and Cybil are somehow connected to the demon, just as the men are connected to the force that trapped it.
I especially liked... | ||
This book takes a good look at the main characters of Fox & Layla as the 6 main characters try and defeat the unleashed paranormal activity... Roberts clearly tries to up the ante of the trilogy by unveiling more secrets.
I didn't like... | ||
However, I had a much harder time getting into this book than the first. Though it shares the same tone of the first book, the pacing is much slower.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Get the trilogy over with

I recommend this Book because...
Part of a typical Nora Roberts trilogy. Fantasy and romance combined - enough to keep you busy for a few hours.
