A young man who sees ghosts and other creatures beyond this world is faced with a possibly huge tragedy which might destroy the town he lives in. Alongside his girlfriend/fiance, they try to find the person who might commit such an outrageous crime. Ghosts of the town can't help him. He searches for answers and a possible career change along the way, in hopes to make more money so he could support his girl better. Life has different plans in store for him as he goes on the journey to save the town from unknown evil.

Anyone who enjoys a bit of mystery combined with horror would like this book.

The writing style. It reminded me a bit of prose yet kept me on my toes at all times.

Since this is a book #1 out of many, the second I finished reading this, I downloaded the next one!

There are certain parts in the book which are rather spooky but I enjoyed it nevertheless.

Dean Koontz is an amazing writer and I can't wait to read the rest of this Series.

It's a fun read with a grain of mystery, yet it doesn't bore you.
