This is the second book in the series. Odd Thomas, a 21-year old who sees dead people must continue his life without his beloved Stormy. As he lets her go, he finds out that his best friend has been kidnapped and he must do anything to save him. His abilities are put to the test as he makes his way through obstacles, just to prove his abilities once more to the person who abducted his friend.

Anyone enjoying mystery but this book is not really scary.

I do like the main character and the strange journey he is on.

At times, this book felt repetitive, especially after reading the first one.

I couldn't give up on Odd. I got the next book in line which proved to be much better.

If you're expecting the same results and effects from the first novel, you won't get them here. The twists and turns are there, but the book is rather slow at times, perhaps even lacks something in the mystery department. I couldn't put a finger on it, but I wasn't as enthoused about this one as the one prior to this.
