This book is a light, quick, humorous, mystery.

There is no pretense in this book. It's a simple, fast read. If you let yourself go with the crazy things that happen, it can be very entertaining. It happens to be #5 in this 'high heel' series but stands alone very well.

This book is a funny, light read. It's perfect for simply relaxing and enjoying the humor in the characters and decisions they make that seem to be the thing to do at the time, but turn into mayhem.

The author, Gemma Halliday, has more than a few series of this type. She seems to keep her stories very simple and are extremely easy reads.

If you are looking for an who-done-it that is light, breezy, and no thinking needed, this book should work.

I haven't read the series in order. This book stands alone very well. It's a wedding planning adventure that simply has a homicide investigation getting in the way. Oh, yes, and then there is the actual murderer that shows up at the end to mess thing up so all can be resolved. And did the wedding get spoiled? Did Maddie and Ramirez get married? You'll have to read it the book to find out.
