This type of Book is good for...
This is a light, breezy, novel. It's hard to really take it seriously.
I especially liked... | ||
There are times you want a story and not have to pay attention to details. This story was so on the surface it didn't take any energy to keep up and even figure out where it was going.
I didn't like... | ||
This book sometimes became very chatty in length. There are times you are open to any conversation but other times when it has gone on so long you just wish they would get to the point.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
There were similarities between the three main characters in this book and Janet Evanovich, Stephanie Plum series. Lexi=Stephanie, Adam=Joe, Solomon=Ranger. I'm not sure the author did this on purpose but if they were compared I felt this author didn't have any of the depth of characterization. They did seem to point to the Plum series, especially Solomon. At the end he shows up and asks her to join his PI company at the end. Hmmm...Ranger offered that to Stephanie, too, if I remember that series correctly.

Further Comments... | ||
This is a light, easy read. It was silly and predictable and even had inconsistencies at times but it still was relaxing. If you just need a simple book this can help pass the time.
