Summary of this Book...
In Jonas's world, everything is perfect. Only simple emotions remain and everything is decided for you. At the age of Twelve, each person is Assigned a job. Jonas, however, is selected. He is chosen to be the new Receiver of the memories of the past, receiving them from The Giver. As his training progresses, however, he starts to understand everything that's wrong with the community and plans an escape.

People who like utopia-type books, futuristic books, or sci-fi.
